We're glad you're here!
We have spent the better part of 10 years
developing our guidebook and e-guide,
because it was the best way we knew to share
the Kenai Peninsula with you, and as lifelong
Kenai Peninsula resdients, you can bet we
know what we're talking about!

Packed into our comprehensive guide book and
e-guide, you will find
driving tours with points of
interest, good places to stop and take pictures, caution
areas, extensive
campground information with
pictures, the rich
histories of our towns and cities,
wildlife information,
city guides, and much more! And,
as an added bonus, our e-guide's "fishing tip" section
includes a segment from Alaskan angler Scott McBride
that will show you how to put together fishing rigs for
the Kenai Peninsula!
Alaska is one of the most unique places on earth!
Here are some interesting facts!
1. The Kenai Peninsula is 25,600 square miles, which averages
out to be about 400 acres per person.
2. Oddly enough, on the Peninsula, April has the most rainy
days and the least amount of rain, while September has the
least rainy days and the most rainfall!
3. The largest King Salmon ever caught by sport fishing was
pulled out of the Kenai River in 1986 weighing in at 97 pounds!
4. In Alaska, it is illegal to throw a live moose out of an
airplane! (Who knew!?)
5. The Alaska Highway was originally built as a military supply
road during World War II.
6. Alaska is a geographical marvel. When a scale map of
Alaska is superimposed on a map of the 48 lower states,
Alaska extends from coast to coast!
